Avoid Internet Scams

I’m sure by now you have gotten an e-mail from some African government official asking you to help him bring money over to the US. If you haven’t then read about this guy who got taken for over $40K. 1. SEC’s How to Avoid Internet Investment Scams
  2. Scam Victims United - they discuss new scams and what to watch for

If it is too good to be true then check either of these sites in order to make sure it isn’t a scam. And if you sell on Craigslist, deal only with people in your immediate vicinity.
