So if you want to build we need to find all the parts at a reasonable price. Some good sites to look at are NewEgg, Tiger Direct, PriceWatch and Tech Bargains which has deals updated daily. If you are lucky enough to have a Fry’s Electronics near you then pay attention to their ads in the newspaper as they always have great deals.
If you are too lazy to do the searching then I have put together one already for you. Using these components, you will not have the absolute best computer in the world but it is also quite a bit more than the bare minimum.

Update: I just came across this site which has price guides to fit your budget. The great thing is that it has high, medium and low budget computers with AMD or Intel CPUs. It only uses NewEgg but they generally have good prices. Kinda puts my meager suggestions to shame. Single Tear…
