The bottled water industry is a multi-billion dollar industry, but are we wasting our money? Some people argue that purchasing expensive bottled water is better for convenience. This is valid, but many people argue that it is better for you and better tasting.
ABC did a test to see if bottled water is better than tap water and what they found was that not only is bottled water not necessarily better for you, it is not necessarily better tasting. The most expensive water, Evian, came in last in the taste test, while the K-Mart brand did the best.
It is an interesting read considering bottled water costs about 500 times more than tap water. My advice: Buy some cheap bottled water then refill it with tap. Save some money.
