If you work or live in a building then you know the hassles of the elevator. Here are some tricks to use when riding the elevator:

• Some elevators will bypass all floors on the way down or up if you press the floor button and the close door button at the same time. This is an express mode put in by some manufacturers.
• If you are going to a higher floor then don’t get on a crowded elevator. Wait for the next one so you don’t have to stop at every floor on the way. Many times you can get there faster than if you had ridden the first one.
• Some elevators will cancel a floor selection if you press that floor’s button three time quickly. Sometimes the elevator will stop at the next floor though. This can help if some annoying kid presses all the buttons.
