USA Today has a interesting article about how Google is replacing the use of our memory. Honestly though, how many trivial facts do you need to remember if it is just a mouse click away. Of course this brings up an interesting idea. What if you could archive your brain like Google archives the web? If there was a central repository for any thoughts or ideas, then others could pick them up and add their own expertise. Talk about collective knowledge. Of course it would be easier if you could just think it and it automatically was added to the database. But then again we’ve all seen the Matrix.
