RSS is a simple feed of a website’s latest updates. Instead of going to a couple of websites to read the updates, you can get an RSS reader and check them there. Whenever the website is updated, the RSS feed shows you the latest headlines and if you are interested, you click it. None of that www. stuff.
What do you know? It looks like LinkTipIdea has an RSS feed.
Take the address to the feed and enter it into the RSS reader. There are a couple of ways to read RSS feeds:
- Gmail has a reader integrated called Web Clips.
- Google and Yahoo let you customize a homepage for yourself and add RSS feeds.
- Firefox has some extensions you can download in order to read them in Firefox.
- My favorite way to read RSS feeds is through Yahoo widgets. Search for a widget that is an RSS reader and all the latest updates come to your desktop.
