Tipping your waiter/waitress is easy. Just double the tax and you usually get between 15% and 20% depending on your state sales tax. What about all of those other people you are supposed to tip? Another good way to get good service at a hotel is to give them a large tip in advance for what they will be doing for you. About a third of what you would plan on giving them over the course of your stay. This way the person will be more than helpful, knowing their service will be recognized and awarded monetarily.
