If you had a choice between getting something and not getting something, which would you choose? That is why I use a credit card. I am going to spend the money regardless, so why use a check card or cash when I can get a credit card and get something in return. The rewards programs offered by credit card companies are a great bonus. Some people like the cash back cards, but I like to get frequent flier miles. The cash back I would get is not more than the free flight I can get spending the same amount of money.
The key to using your credit card for all expenditures is that you have to pay it off on time every month, otherwise face the wrath of the interest charge.
